OUR PROJECTS
At Keyz2TheFuture, we are committed to providing support to Black and Brown children dealing with grief and loss due to gun violence in the Greater Bay Area. We have several ongoing projects that aim to address this critical issue in our community. Our projects include counseling and therapy sessions, mentorship programs, and community events that promote healing and unity.

Our counseling and therapy sessions are designed to provide a safe and supportive space for children and families affected by gun violence. We work with licensed therapists and mental health professionals who specialize in trauma and grief counseling. Our sessions are free of charge and available to all members of the community.
Our mentorship programs aim to provide positive role models and guidance for children who have lost a parent to gun violence. We partner with local organizations and community leaders to match children with mentors who can offer support, encouragement, and guidance as they navigate the challenges of growing up without a parent.

We organize community events that promote healing, unity, and awareness around the issue of gun violence in our community. Our events include vigils, marches, and rallies that bring together community members, activists, and leaders to demand change and raise awareness.
We also offer educational workshops and training sessions for parents, teachers, and community members who want to learn more about the impact of gun violence on children and families. Our workshops cover topics such as trauma-informed care, grief and loss, and community healing.

We work with local and state lawmakers to advocate for common-sense gun laws and policies that prioritize the safety and well-being of our community.
